We Ride Together

Ride for Racial Justice rides towards an equitable future for the sport of cycling through the power and freedom of the bicycle.

Our mission is to ensure access to resources, education, and community for Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) cyclists and to dismantle systemic racism.

BIPOC leadership is our foundation. Through advocacy and lobbying, we work to enhance BIPOC leadership, voices, experiences, community and infrastructure in cycling, from global brand to local events.

We condemn racism and know the suffering of any one human has a lasting effect on us all as a global community. Our vision for equity in the sport incorporates the intersectionality of race, gender identity, sexual orientation and socio-economic status and includes those in all marginalized groups, including the LGBTQIA+ community, Immigrants, and Women. The way forward is together, in solidarity.

We’re committed to representation, access and breaking down barriers to bikes and cycling for BIPOC youth and adults. Since our founding in July 2020, we have begun working to create programs to provide education and access to bikes, gear, racing, and community, especially for those in under-resourced communities. In November 2020 we announced our partnership with SBT GRVL to bring 25 BIPOC cyclists to the start line!

Our Core Values are Diversity, Education, Leadership & Community!
